Homemade Nutella

First there was mayonnaise….now there is nutella. In a bid to slowly rid our lives of single use plastic i am starting to replace our condiments with homemade ones.  The mayonnaise provided a couple of problems but the nutella? Easy!

It was as simple as combining sugar, hazelnuts, butter, milk and chocolate in a blender after heating the milk and butter a little.  Everything was mixed together, put in glass jars to chill in the fridge and voila! It tastes fantastic too – much better than the shop bought stuff and it’ll last 3 weeks (but if you are anything like our household, it’ll be gone long before then anyway!).

Let us know if you attempt your own and don’t forget to share your photos.

(Apologies for the terrible photos – Camera was on charge!)
